Tikkurila has concluded the cooperation negotiations

Tikkurila has concluded the cooperation negotiations which were initiated last week and concerned temporary layoffs of Tikkurila’s employees in Finland.
It has been decided that currently the temporary layoffs will involve a maximum of approximately 250 employees in Finland, excluding production. The layoffs will be implemented in phases according to the economic and production related situation. They will be implemented mainly as part-time layoffs to secure uninterrupted operation of all functions.
The duration of the temporary layoffs may vary based on the employee’s role, with the maximum duration being 90 days per employee.
Last year, Tikkurila employed an average of 2,700 people in eleven countries, of which approximately 500 in Finland. Tikkurila is preparing to adjust its operations also in other countries.
