Tikkurila's Tunto to the new Tulikivi Suvas range of designer fireplaces
Tulikivi's new Suvas designer fireplace will be treated with Tikkurila's Tunto Hieno textured coating.
Tulikivi is set to launch the new Suvas designer fireplace range in Finland in early 2012. The fireplaces will be treated with Tikkurila's Tunto Hieno textured coating. The shades can be chosen from the color card for Tikkurila Tunto textured coatings.
Launched at the Habitare interior decoration and design fair, Tulikivi Suvas fireplaces are custom-made, modular products which provide a seamless design and an exact fit for the surroundings. What’s more, the modular design of Suvas means that practical details, such as log store recesses, benches and storage, can be incorporated in the fireplaces.
The Tikkurila Tunto product range includes two water-borne acrylate coatings, Tunto Hieno (Tunto Fine) and Tunto Karhea (Tunto Coarse). Tunto Karhea provides a rougher, stone-like look and feel, while Tunto Hieno gives a smoother finish. Both products are available in more than 50 shades of the Tunto color card.
Tunto Kivi (Tunto Stone) is the new water-borne member of the product family, and it is also suitable for fireplaces. Made of crushed Finnish natural stone, the Tunto Kivi range includes four stone coating products: Light Limestone, Gray Granite, Red Granite, and Black Gabbro. The coatings can be tinted into 25 carefully selected natural mineral colors.
