Tikkurila's paints in the Snow Arena in Lithuania

The steel structures of the winter entertainment complex Snow Arena in Druskininkai, Lithuania were painted with more than 50,000 litres of Tikkurila's coatings.

The steel structures of the winter entertainment complex Snow Arena in Druskininkai, Lithuania were painted with more than 50,000 litres of Tikkurila's coatings.

Due to Tikkurila's well-known brand, reliable quality and ability to provide good service, Tikkurila was chosen as the cooperation partner for the project.  More than two-thirds of the paints used in the snow arena were supplied through Tikkurila's Temaspeed dealer in Vilnius. The Snow Area is a perfect example of Temaspeed's distribution effectiveness, when many subcontractors are involved in the project with a need for same quality product, local service and on time deliveries.

The snow arena was opened in August 2011, and is the only winter activities complex in the Baltic countries that works all year round. The arena’s three skiing slopes and snowboarding park are in the area of 8 hectares. The total length of the slopes is more than 1,100 meters and the height of the hills is 66 meters.
