Tikkurila in cooperation with the SOS Children Village in the Housing Fair at Vuores in Tampere

The 2012 Housing Fair will be held at Vuores in Tampere between July 13–August 12, 2012. One of the Housing Fair exhibits will be a neighborhood home of the SOS Children's Village, the interior surfaces of which are painted with Tikkurila paint.

The 2012 Housing Fair will be held at Vuores in Tampere between July 13–August 12, 2012. The housing fair will display 39 buildings, the construction and interior design of which emphasize, among others, well-being, functionality, modifiability, and ecological aspects.

One of the Housing Fair exhibits will be a neighborhood home of the SOS Children's Village. The neighborhood homes of SOS Children's Village are a new form of activity for the association, where the relocation and open welfare services are brought closer to the customers. Foster care and other welfare services are provided as integrated into the child's own living environment.

The interior decoration team of Avotakka magazine is responsible for the interior decoration of the SOS Children Village's Housing Fair exhibit. The starting point of the design was the will to create joyful, energizing, and empowering rooms. The interior surfaces of the neighborhood home were painted with Tikkurila's water-borne Joker interior paint. Marika Raike, Tikkurila's Design Manager, was responsible for the paint selections, and Anna Wetterstrand, Special Painter, for the painting.

     

In addition, Tikkurila's paints were used in six other houses in the Housing Fair.
