Shanghai World Expo 2010
Tikkurila participated in the fair as a partner of Finpro’s Finland at Expo 2010 project. The Shanghai World Expo ran from 1 May to 31 October 2010. In keeping with the Shanghai World Expo’s theme, Better City, Better Life, Finland’s Kirnu (“Giant’s Kettle”) pavilion conformed to the principles of sustainable construction, while presenting solutions for urban construction of the future. Tikkurila products have been used for the steel frame, concrete floors and inner walls of the pavilion. Quality, beauty and durability were emphasized with regard to product selection.
