One Tikkurila brand serves all customer segments
According to the new Group strategy, Tikkurila will increasingly focus on customers by actively marketing its products to three customer segments: Consumers, Professionals and Industry. To support this customer approach, Tikkurila will further strengthen its strong brand portfolio consisting of both strategic international and local brands. The strategic brands are Tikkurila, Alcro, Vivacolor and Teks.As of March 2010, products for the industrial users will be sold under the Tikkurila brand. The Tikkurila Coatings brand will be replaced gradually in packaging, technical specifications, marketing material and media.
Tikkurila sells industrial coatings to its customers both directly and through the Temaspeed distributors’ network in approximately 30 countries including the Nordic countries, Russia and Central Eastern Europe.
Tikkurila Coatings has been the international brand for users of industrial metal and wood coatings. Tikkurila has produced industrial coatings since the 1920s, and since 1997 under the Tikkurila Coatings brand.
