Appointment and reorganisations at Tikkurila 6/2006
Mr Juha Mäkinen, Vice President, Operations at Tikkurila Oy, will resume his new position as Senior Vice President of SBU Pigments and Managing Director of Kemira Pigments Oy as from 1 August 2006. It has been decided to combine Procurement and Production & Logistics at Tikkurila into one function called Supply Chain. At the same time, the HSEQ function will be transferred to be part of the Technology function and to be headed by Mr Ilkka Sarvimäki, Vice President, R&D and Technology, at Tikkurila Oy.
The new Supply Chain function is aimed at improving and further developing the operations and customer service of the whole company. Mr PETRI BOMAN, currently Vice President, Procurement, at Tikkurila Oy, will be appointed head of the Supply Chain function with immediate effect.
